- Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
- Based on 2025 GA commercial driver's license manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for July 2025
Are you a Georgia resident searching for a job opportunity that is sweeter than the peaches your state produces? Georgia’s economy includes multiple industries that rely on licensed CDL Passenger Vehicle drivers. Whether it’s driving a tour bus to explore the many modern and historical attractions or transporting passengers in a 16-occupant van from one of the nation’s busiest airports to hotels or military bases, there is an abundance of jobs available. How do you get started to secure your opportunity?
First, you will need to become a Georgia licensed Class A, B, or C CDL driver. A ‘P’ endorsement is required on a Georgia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for drivers to operate a vehicle that can transport more than 15 people, including the driver. Applicants must pass both a written and a road skills test in a passenger-carrying vehicle like the ones they will be operating, to obtain this endorsement on their CDL. Four sections are included on the written test: Driving Safely, Transporting Passengers Safely, Pre-Trip Inspection, and Basic Control Skills. Successful applicants need to answer 16 out of 20 (80%) questions to receive a passing score. What is the best way to prepare?
Better than a study guide, this free Georgia CDL Passenger Vehicle Endorsement practice test based on the 2025 CDL Manual (Georgia CDL Handbook 2025) provides you with exceptional preparation to pass the exam on your first attempt. This practice test is up to date as of July 2025. The questions on the practice test are just like the ones you will see on the official exam. You will be able to learn at your own pace and strategically retain the information. Immediate feedback is given on your answer to each question, with wrong answers highlighted and a detailed explanation of the correct answer.
Pro Tip: From Columbus to Atlanta and Athens to Savannah, opportunities to earn a living while meeting exciting people and taking in scenic views are awaiting. Georgia residents are urged to check out a variety of on-line resources, handbooks, and our CDL Passenger guide.
